Thomas
M. DeLitto, Chairman. Mr. DeLitto is Chairman of Permal
Capital Management and has been
overseeing the Permal Group's private equity investment activities
since October 1990 and is a Managing Member of the Permal Group.
He is also Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
of PCM's hedge fund affiliate. Mr. DeLitto has held numerous board
and board observer positions with both public and private companies.
From 1983 to 1990, he held a series of senior financial, operating
and general management positions in large, multi-national public
companies. From 1975 to 1980, he was a CPA with Arthur Young
& Co. Mr. DeLitto is a graduate of Lehigh University.
C. Redington Barrett
III, President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Barrett
is President and Chief Executive Officer of Permal Capital and has
been active in the firm's private equity business since 1989. Between
1997 and 2000, Mr. Barrett was a Managing Director of Gemini Investors,
a private equity partnership specializing in growth capital situations,
during which time he continuously served as a Director of PCM and
as a member of its Investment Committee. Mr. Barrett has held board
or board observer roles in a number of public and private companies.
Prior to 1989, Mr. Barrett served as an equity analyst for Fidelity
Management and Research and held various positions with Keefe, Bruyette
and Woods, Inc., an investment-banking firm. Mr. Barrett graduated
from Princeton University and has a Masters of Business Administration
from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
Robert Di Geronimo, Managing
Director. Mr. Di Geronimo joined the firm in 1998 and is
responsible for sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities,
interviewing managers, performing financial analysis of portfolio
investments, monitoring existing investments as well as day-to-day
operations of the private equity funds. Mr. Di Geronimo was a Senior
Associate with Price Waterhouse in the Investment Partnership and
Offshore Fund practice. He graduated from the University
of Delaware with a BS in Accounting and a minor in Management Information
Systems.
Benjamin
Marino, Managing Director, Chief Financial Officer and Chief
Compliance Officer. Mr. Marino joined the
firm in 2003 and is responsible for the day-to-day operations,
compliance and financial
reporting of the private equity funds as well as participating
in the review and financial analysis of portfolio investments.
Previously,
he was the assistant controller of Summit Partners, a large Boston-based
private equity and venture capital firm. In addition,
he has worked as an accounting manager at a diversified
Massachusetts
real estate company and began his career at Price Waterhouse where
he was a senior associate. He graduated from the
University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a BS in
Accounting and has an MBA
from Northeastern University. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
Adriaan
Zur Muhlen, Managing Director. Mr.
Zur Muhlen joined the firm in 2007. Prior to joining PCM, Mr.
Zur Muhlen was a Managing Director at Spinnaker Capital LLC where
he made both commitments to venture capital and private equity
partnerships as well as direct investments in private companies.
Prior to 2002 Mr. Zur Muhlen was Vice President of Corporate
Development at CMGI, worked as a strategy consultant at Corporate
Decisions Inc, and was Product Manager with Procter & Gamble.
Mr. Zur Muhlen graduated with a B.S. in Economics from Miami University
of Ohio and has an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Mike
D'Agostino, Principal. Mr.
D'Agostino
joined the firm in 2008 and is responsible for business development
and client service. Previously, he was the chief operating
officer of Andesite, LLC, a Boston-based global life sciences long/short
fund. Prior
to 2004, he was president of Hartland & Co., an institutional
investment consulting firm, where he worked with corporate defined
benefit plans, foundations, endowments and healthcare institutions.
In addition, he worked as a Senior Trust Specialist at The Boston
Company. Mr. D'Agostino graduated from Colby College with
a BA in Economics and holds an MBA from Case Western Reserve University.
He is a member of the CFA Institute and the Boston Security Analysts
Society.
David
Navins, Vice President. Mr. Navins joined the firm in 2007 with primary responsibility in the investment management function, including evaluation, analysis and monitoring of portfolio investments. Previously, he worked as a Senior Associate at Federal Street Advisors, a Boston based investment consulting firm, where he focused on private equity and hedge fund investments. Prior to Federal Street, he worked as a Research Analyst at Management Research Associates, a boutique financial services consulting and recruiting firm. A graduate of Williams College, Mr. Navins holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the Boston Security Analysts Society.
Aaron
Bright, Vice President. Mr. Bright joined the firm
in 2007 with primary responsibility in the investment management
function, including evaluation, analysis and monitoring of portfolio
investments. Previously, he worked at Kendall Investments, a
Cambridge, MA based private equity fund of funds where he evaluated,
analyzed and monitored private equity portfolio investments.
Prior to Kendall Investments Mr. Bright was a Senior Associate
at Cambridge Associates, a Boston based investment consulting
firm where he focused on private equity investments. He graduated
from Washington University with a BS in Accounting and has an
MBA and MSF from Boston College’s
Carroll School of Management.
Anthony
M. Waters, Associate. Mr.
Waters joined the firm in 2000 and is responsible for supporting
the analytical, operational and administrative functions
of the firm. Prior to joining the firm Mr. Waters was an
Assistant Vice President and Portfolio Manager within the
Commercial Lending Department of the Summit Bank Corporation.
Mr. Waters is a graduate of Cornell University where he
holds a BA in History.
Donald
Childs, Senior Finance Associate. Mr. Childs joined the firm in 2006 and is
responsible for supporting the administrative, operational
and reporting functions of the firm. Before joining the group,
he was a performance analyst with The Private Edge Group, State
Street Corporation where he created private equity performance
reports in addition to other responsibilities. In addition,
he has also worked with the United Way of Central Maryland. Mr.
Childs holds a BA from the College of the Holy Cross.
Minden
Rodenhouse, Finance
Associate.
Ms. Rodenhouse joined in the firm in 2007 and is responsible
for supporting the administrative, operational and reporting
functions of the firm. Prior to joining the group, she was a
fund accountant with Investors Bank & Trust in Boston. Ms.
Rodenhouse is a graduate of Wheaton College where she holds a
BA in Economics.
Jessica
Ratter, Administrative Associate. Ms. Ratter joined the firm in
2007 and is responsible for assisting with client service and
administrative operations of the firm. Prior to joining PCM she
was an
office administrator at Fulgent Media in Boston, MA. Ms. Ratter
graduated from Newbury College with a BS degree in Legal Studies.
J. Richard Cordsen, Investment Committee. Mr. Cordsen has continuously served as a member of PCM’s Investment Committee and Board since 1989. He is a Founding Partner of Woodbine Capital, a NY based hedge fund, and previously was Senior Vice President of Permal Group, Inc. and Regional Director – Americas with responsibility for product distribution (a position he held from 1999 to 2008). Prior to joining Permal, Mr. Cordsen was with the United Gulf Group, responsible for its private equity portfolio and strategic joint ventures, in which capacity he invested in numerous funds and private companies and held board seats on various public and private companies. He was also with Chase Manhattan Bank in various capacities and is a director of Gulf DTH LDC (d/b/a Showtime). Mr. Cordsen holds an MBA from Columbia University and a BS from the University of Colorado.
François Becquaert, Investment Committee. Mr. Becquaert is the Chief Financial Officer and Deputy COO of the Permal Group. Previously he was the Deputy Director of Sequana Capital S.A. (formerly known as Worms & Cie) ("Sequana"), an industrial and services group listed on the Paris Bourse and Permal’s owner prior to its sale to Legg Mason, Inc. Mr. Becquaert joined Sequana in 1996 and was responsible for corporate development and control of Sequana’s investments in the financial sector and the verification / certification sector (Société Générale de Surveillance). Prior to this position, he worked for Demachy Worms Investment Bank where he participated in a number of M&A deals in Europe. Before joining the Worms Group, Mr. Becquaert was with BNP Paribas in Dublin in its structured finance practice. François Becquaert graduated from the Université Paris Dauphine with a Master in Corporate Finance.
